Vasteras is a city in central Sweden, located on the shore of Lake Malaren in the province Vastmanland.
The city has the largest lakeside commercial and recreational port in Scandinavia on Lake Malaren.
Vasteras is home to Sweden's biggest mall - the Erikslund Shopping Center, located on the outskirts of Vasteras.
A local attraction is Vasteras Flight museum, which has four real flight simulators open to the public upon coordination in advance.
